All rising Webelos I and II Scouts are invited to attend Webelos Adventure week at Bert Adams Scout reservation with Pack 459!

Rising Webelos II Scouts can participate in the 2-day Outback Adventure program which is designed to give second year Webelos Scouts the greatest opportunity to learn basic Boy Scouting skills and stay excited about Scouting.  The program includes canoeing across the Bert Adams Lake to Camp Jamison where the boys will learn basic outdoor skills with an Australian Outback theme and camp out overnight.  They’ll also do rappelling the following day.  Following the Outback Adventure program, the Scouts can choose from a multitude of activities including archery, target shooting, bouldering, bicycling, fishing, etc to round out the week.

Attendees can be added to the Pack459  reservation up to Sun, 6/21.  Finally, there are certain adult to scout ratios that must be maintained, so we’d prefer that a parent join the Scout for the week.  Having said that, we may be able to accommodate unaccompanied Scouts if we have enough leaders/parents willing to be responsible for additional Scouts.  If you’re at all interested in attending, please contact me soon and we can work out the details.
