Earn 5 raffle tickets for bringing any donation and 5 more for bringing 35 or more items!

The pack will be collecting food and personal hygiene items in February to help stock the panty for the food bank of North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC).  All donations will be collected at the Blue & Gold celebration on Sat, 2/22.

Our pack goal is to collect 2,500 items or 35 items per scout and to have 100% scout participation.  As an added incentive to bring donations to the Blue & Gold celebration, 5 raffle tickets will be given for bringing any donation and an additional 5 raffle tickets will be given for donating 35 or more items!

To help maximize this year’s donation, I’d encourage you to organize a neighborhood collection using the attached documents.  If there are multiple pack 459 scouts in your neighborhood, please coordinate your efforts to organize a single collection.  I’d recommend asking for donations at least twice (once this week and then again next Wed or Thurs) w/ a neighborhood collection on the morning of Sat, 2/22.  Below are some comments re: each attachment.

• Neighborhood Flyer:  The attached flyer (2 per page) can be put in mailboxes this week.  If you use this flyer, be sure to add the scout(s) name and phone number.  Also, please observer mailbox regulations (particularly in the Waterside subdivision) to keep our Cubmaster out of jail.
• Neighborhood Email:  The attached email can be sent to a neighborhood distribution list to solicit donations.  If you use this, be sure to add your neighborhood name and ensure the collection date/times work with your schedule.
• Thank You Note:  The attached thank you note (2 per page) should be given to anyone who donates items at the time of the pick-up.
