With the new school year upon us, and an increasing use of technology in our everyday lives, I thought the following might be useful. I recently received a very useful email from a service I use for email for my children. Here is an excerpt and link to their blog:
Apps are continually developing and changing the way we socialize. Kids have easy access to smart devices, and with an easy click can download an app in seconds. While most apps pose no immediate threat to our kids, some are very dangerous and should be avoided. Below is a brief list of some apps that pose a risk for children.
Always be sure to double check what apps are on your smart devices and be sure to stay informed of what apps can cause a potential risk to your children. Safe guard any smart device with passwords, making app purchases and downloads harder to achieve.
You can read about these apps in greater detail on our blog by CLICKING HERE.
Sincerely, Your Cubmaster,
